Laura Bordeaux (Denver, CO)

Laura’s experience as a former collegiate swimmer, marathon runner, triathlete, and adventure racer, combined with her experience as a personal trainer and fitness instructor, has resulted in a versatile perspective on fitness that she strives to both embody and implement with each client: fitness is a holistic and “wholistic” lifestyle that should encompass an equal balance of dedication to training, rehabilitation/ injury prevention, and nutrition. Since graduating from the University of Virginia, Laura’s experience has ranged from working for the United Nations, to working for the State Department, to training military personnel for deployment, creating and launching programs for fitness clubs, 3 years as a cycling instructor for Flywheel Sports, and working for a myriad of other clubs across the country. Tonya Butler-Collins (Daphne, AL)

Tonya Butler-Collins has been a fitness professional since 1994, when she attended the Army Master Fitness Trainer School. Before she entered the United States Army in 1990, she was a competitive gymnast and softball player competing in state competitions. She is a certified strength and conditioning specialist as well as a personal trainer and a licensed medical massage therapist. Tonya owned and operated De Novo Fitness Systems from 1997 to 2007. Tonya is now the owner and COO of Dynamic Therapeutics, LLC, specializing in mobility and rehabilitative teaching for athletes and special populations in Daphne, Alabama. She taught as an assistant professor of exercise science at the University of North Georgia in Gainesville, GA for eight years and currently teaches sports science at the United States Sports Academy in Daphne, AL. Tonya is a Master Trainer for Twist®, teaching seminars for universities in sport conditioning. She is also a Master Trainer for TriggerPoint teaching the Level 1 Foam Rolling and Level 2 Myofacial Compression Techniques programs throughout the United States. Most recently, Tonya had the opportunity to teach coaching and sport performance techniques to 20 former Olympians and national champions from Shanghai, China in their international coaching program. She has worked with the Thailand National Sports Authority on techniques of effective coaching for their National Certificate of Coaching. She is also a member of Team River Runners, a national kayak organization that teaches wounded veterans to kayak. She is a Level 2 whitewater kayak instructor for the American Canoe and Kayak Association.

Marc Coronel (Las Vegas, NV)

Marc Coronel, B.A. (from Whittier College), is a Senior Master Course Instructor (one of nine worldwide) and conference presenter for TRX and Master Trainer/conference presenter for TriggerPoint, as well as a Master instructor for LifeFitness, who shares his passion of training, movement and education. An expert in connecting people to movement and energy, Marc is known for his presentations at NIRSA, TSI NY, ACSM, ECA and IDEA to be full of humor and empowerment as well as a sought after fitness consultant and program director worldwide as he has helped a multitude of gyms start their businesses. Marc has trained all walks of life from professional athletes, actors, models, celebrities, secret service, law enforcement, moms, dads, grandmas, and children. He believes in balance of body and mind and that nothing is impossible.

Kristen Ekiss (Waukesha, WI)

Kristen Ekiss has been a health and fitness professional since 2005. Her love for fitness grew from involvement in her command fitness program while on active duty with the Navy. After spending the bulk of her career as a personal trainer she transitioned her skills into the corporate world and grew a passion for corporate wellness. She has expertise in managing corporate programs, creating fun worksite challenges and working closely with the Human Resources team. Kristen holds BS in Sports and Fitness Management and a Masters in Health Education. She is a certified personal trainer with the National Strength and Conditioning Association, a Certified Health Education Specialist, a Corrective Exercise Specialist with the National Academy of Sports Medicine, a Precision Nutrition Coach and certified in Functional Movement Screening. When not working she is active in her church and likes to workout, read and volunteer in her community.

Julianne Fontno (Stamford, CT)

Julianne is a seasoned professional with over 10 years of experience. She has a background in Exercise Science and has worked many years in the corporate health and fitness arena. Her time as a personal trainer, group fitness instructor, fitness center operator and educator has given her the knowledge and expertise to help many people reach their goals. Julianne Fontno is one of the original TriggerPoint Master Trainers who has taught dozens of Foam Rolling and MCT classes. “My approach is casual, hand-on, and practical. I like to relate the experience to each individual so they can understand the benefits in their own way,” says Julianne. In addition to teaching for TriggerPoint, Julianne is an Occupational Health Services Director in the New York/Connecticut tri-state area. She has a strong passion for helping people function better while at work and to create an overall safe and healthy work environment.

Britny Fowler (Austin, TX)

Britny has 9 years of experience in the fitness industry. The bulk of her experience includes fitness training at spas and gym, and as a presenter providing training and education of products and techniques for various education companies. She approaches each of these positions as an opportunity to educate consumers and other fitness professionals on available fitness tools and techniques that facilitate optimal health, wellness, and performance. She has a passion to coach and empower others to enrich their quality of life through movement, education, nutrition, and mid-body awareness. Britny holds a BS in Sports Management from Texas A&M, and is a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Certified Personal Trainer and Corrective Exercise Specialist. She is a Level III Peak Pilates certified instructor trained on all levels of mat, reformer, chair and barrel. She teaches group fitness kickboxing, strength and conditioning classes, and is Schwinn Cycle Certified. Britny has appeared in the A&E series Heavy as a trainer to clients facing extreme life-threatening health consequences as a result of their obesity. The show documents the experience of incredible life-changing transformations during a six month treatment program. In her free time, Britny trains for and competes in marathons and triathlons. She qualified and ran the 2012 Boston Marathon. She also enjoys spending time her with new baby boy.

Christy Giroux (Rockville, MD)

Christy Giroux earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from Ithaca College. Since entering the fitness industry in 1998, Christy has held various roles including personal trainer, fitness director, general manager, regional training specialist, and corporate program director for various large name health clubs in Washington, DC, California, and New York. She is certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine as a personal trainer, corrective exercise specialist, golf fitness specialist, and group training specialist. Christy is also TRX Suspension Training and Rip Training qualified and is a Precision Nutrition Level 1 Coach. Christy and her husband opened a fitness studio in 2012, Prime Fitness, which focuses on private training, small group training, and bootcamp programs. When she isn’t in her studio, Christy is a NASM CPT instructor and a TriggerPoint Master Trainer and loves educating fitness professionals throughout the U.S. But above all else, Christy’s favorite role is mom.

Aleta Goin (Salem, OR)

Aleta Goin (B.S. ExSc, NASM-CPT) is the owner of SuperFfitt - Superior Massage and Functional Fitness, a unique blend of therapeutic massage and corrective exercise/personal fitness.  She is a certified personal trainer, a licensed massage therapist with 12 years of experience in therapeutic massage working with muscular imbalances for pain relief and injury prevention, and an instructor at Oregon School of Massage.  Her education in human movement science and her own experiences as a dancer and an athlete have helped her to understand how the body functions and heals, and have deepened her understanding of how to help those who are recovering from injuries or suffering from chronic pain.

Ryan Halvorson (San Diego, CA)

Ryan Halvorson has been involved in the fitness industry for nearly 10 years. He is a contributing editor to IDEA Health & Fitness Association, the group personal training director at Bird Rock Fit in La Jolla, California, and the founder and chief content officer of Fit Scribe Media. Ryan has authored hundreds of articles on the subject of health and fitness and has been published in magazines like Details and GQ. He has also been quoted by, Prevention, Fox News, and more.

Alex Hernandez (Jamestown, NC)

Alex started his professional fitness career in 2008 when he decided to pay forward all of the benefits that he received as a long-time BODYPUMP® participant. He is certified in several of the LES MILLS® programs and was invited to join the National Trainer Team in 2012. Alex is a degreed Mechanical Engineer and is passionate about efficient movement. He discovered TriggerPoint and self-myofascial release after suffering with plantar fasciiitis for over 6 months. In a couple of days of self-massage, he completely eliminated all traces of pain and discomfort and has been asymptomatic since. Shortly after, he joined TriggerPoint as a Master Trainer to share his experiences with others. Alex also has certifications in Group Fitness through ACE and AFAA.

Geoff Lecovin (Bellevue, WA)

Dr. Lecovin is a chiropractor, naturopathic physician and acupuncturist. He graduated from the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic in 1990 with a BS in Biology and Doctor of Chiropractic, earned a Masters in Nutrition from the University of Bridgeport in 1992, and then went on to complete the Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine and Masters in Acupuncture programs at Bastyr University in 1994. He holds additional certifications in exercise from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (CSCS), International Society of Sports Nutrition (CISSN) and National Academy of Sports Medicine (CPT CES PES FNS), where he is also a Master Instructor. Dr. Lecovin specializes in treating musculoskeletal pain and sports injuries by integrating trigger point acupuncture/dry needling, soft tissue release, joint manipulation, corrective exercise and nutrition. In addition, he combines exercise and nutrition for weight loss, weight gain, performance enhancement, wellness and the management of chronic diseases.

Jess Manning (Salt Lake City, UT)

Jess has been involved in sports all of his life, but only entered competitive running and multisport in the last five years. Initially he pursued it as a way to enjoy life more to the fullest, keep up with his kids, and lose some unwanted weight. Very shortly, however, he found out what he believes to be his true calling as a coach, trainer, and life-changing motivator. After competing and finding success on the local level at 5k’s, he quickly moved up the event chain and reached his goal of completing his first marathon. With that under his belt, he has since completed 9 more marathons, including the 2009 Boston Marathon, as well as 4 ultra-marathons. He has spent the last several years immersing himself in all things multisport, having co-founded Bricks MultiSport & Fitness, LLC. Bricks is a multi-faceted training company that trains coaches and athletes of all ability groups and disciplines, hosts and directs events, houses the number one multisport team in the area, and provides retail gear at its main location for athletes in the surrounding region. Jess acquired formal education from the US Army in Nutrition and he holds coaching certifications from USAT, USAC, and AFAA. As the head multisport coach for Bricks, Jess has been able to help anyone from beginner to elite achieve their life goals whether they are to lose some unwanted pounds, accomplish an Iron Man, or realize their dream as a professional athlete. He currently coaches and trains athletes of all disciplines all over the country.

Rob McCullough (Huntington Beach, CA)

Robert Alexander McCullough IV is a Huntington Beach, CA. native, married & father to two boys (Cruz & Maximus), and his nickname is “Razor” Rob. Rob is a 18 year veteran of combat sports and has competed on major stages such as K-1, Dream, Bellator, WEC, King of the Cage and World Fighting Alliance. He was the Pit Fighting Championship one night 8 man Tournament (NHB) Champion. Razor has trained overseas in Thailand in Muay Thai kick boxing at SIDYTONG gym PATTAYA -98’. He is Brazilian Top Team- Jiu Jitsu Purple Belt. Currently, Rob is the Senior Director of MMA Programming for UFC Gym Corporation and Franchise Company. Razor has traveled the world as a participant and trainer as well as trained with many (UFC) Champions including Ricco Rodriguez, Kevin Randelman, Tito Ortiz and Rampage Jackson. Razor’s Muay Thai Instructional video ” Ultimate Striking” remains one of the best-selling MMA training series of all time. Rob is currently a National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer, Youth Exercise Specialist, and Mixed Martial Arts Conditioning Specialist. He is a First Aid/CPR/AED/Oxygen instructor with the American Red Cross, MA-TRX Master Trainer, TriggerPoint Performance Therapy Master Trainer, Escape TIYR Master Trainer, and UFC FIT Senior Master Trainer. Razor is the former WEC lightweight mixed martial arts champion and IMTC welterweight Muay Thai kickboxing champion. He has also coached on two different seasons of the reality-based TV show, “The Ultimate Fighter”, season 11 with Ortiz vs. Liddell & Bisping vs. Miller. Rob enjoys learning and teaching others to become better!

Susane Pata (New York, NY)

Early on as a Rutgers University student, Susane discovered her passion for exercise and became a group fitness instructor for both the Rutgers Recreation Center and Johnson & Johnson’s World Headquarters Employee Fitness Centers. She ultimately turned fitness into a full-time profession in 2003 while living in San Francisco instructing, training and managing at some of the city’s most popular and well-attended fitness facilities. Susane has also recently been published in IDEA Journal on the topic of foam rolling and continues to explore writing projects in order to share her expertise regarding fitness and group training. Susane has been involved with the fitness industry for over 20 years, and believes no matter what tool or philosophy you choose to advocate, one thing remains steadfast: fitness pros should not only look to motivate at the moment, but to inspire for life.

Sylvie Patrick (Miami, FL)

Sylvie Patrick is an athlete and personal trainer who specializes in whole body vibration and functional training. She grew up in France and came to the United States in 1998. Since then, she has opened her training studio and had the opportunity to become a Master Instructor for Power Plate in 2010, Master Trainer for TriggerPoint in 2012, and recently Master Instructor for the Evidence Based Fitness Academy. She uses her experience to motivate and advise many fitness professionals to gain the confidence to open their own businesses and continue their education by adding certifications. Sylvie is a National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer, American Council on Exercise Certified Personal Trainer, Aerobics Fitness Association of America Primary Group Exercise Certified Instructor, Spinning® Instructor, Silver Fit Instructor, Aqua Aerobic trainer, and holds a TRX® Group and Personal Training Certificate. She is passionate about sharing her knowledge with other people and empowering her clients to maintain or discover optimum health. Sylvie works with people facing diseases and/or injuries and is personally engaged to help them live a better life.

Steve Rast (Eugene, OR)

Steve Rast is a Strength and Conditioning Coach with over a fifteen years of experience ranging from personal training, coaching athletic teams, to the running of CrossFit gyms. Steve spent seven years in the Marine Corps and played rugby at the University of Washington where he has since acted as the club's S&C Coach. He has hired and developed dozens of trainers, opened and consulted several successful gyms and now operates a 501c3 nonprofit gym focused on childhood obesity. Coach Rast enjoys training other trainers and currently works with companies like CrossFit for their Olympic Lifting Trainer Course, ViPR and Trigger Point Performance Therapy as a Master Trainer involved in the teaching and certification of other trainers as well as an Adjunct Instructor at the University of Oregon’s PE Department. Kolleen Riddick (Milton, GA)

Kolleen is a certified personal trainer, as well as Corrective Exercise Specialist with the National Academy of Sports Medicine and a Master Trainer for TriggerPoint. Kolleen owns and directs Core Physique, a unique approach to fitness, in Alpharetta, GA that focuses on personal training, strength and conditioning, and nutrition coaching. She works with high level athletes in the NFL as well as the athletes of tomorrow. Her passion is helping people improve their lifestyles.

Justin Russ (Sarasota, FL)

Justin Russ is a Strength and Conditioning Coach at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. Justin is responsible for the development and implementation of strength, speed, power, movement, and regeneration programs for the Academy’s lacrosse, football, soccer and golf athletes. In addition, Justin also works as a TRX Sr. Course Instructor and TriggerPoint Master Trainer, presenting and delivering educational content for each company nationwide. A native of Buffalo, New York, Justin graduated with his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science in 2011. Kimberly Shah (Chicago, IL)

A fitness professional since 2006, Kimberly Shah is a certified personal trainer, group fitness instructor and USA Triathlon Coach in Chicago, IL.  As an athlete herself, Kimberly has traveled the globe competing in triathlons and road races of all distances from 5k to Ironman.  With a background in Eastern Medicine and Shiatsu, she started her fitness career working with Varsity Athletes at Northwestern University on injury prevention stretching based on the principles of Eastern Medicine's 5 Element Theory.  From 2006 to current, Kimberly has taught and created a variety of classes from cardio boot camp to joint mobility and stretching, swimming, indoor cycling and running.

Kyle Stull (Dallas, TX)

Kyle Stull is the Senior Master Trainer and Education Content Manager for TriggerPoint, a division of Implus LLC. In this position, Kyle collaborates with leading universities and industry professionals conducting research that provides evidence-based support for educational material that is used for both marketing and instructional purposes. Kyle is also a Faculty Instructor the National Academy of Sports Medicine since 2010, where he teaches Fitness and Corrective Exercise Workshops and contributes content for various journals and articles. Kyle has a Master’s of Science in Rehabilitation, a Bachelor's of Science in Sport Management, and is a Licensed Massage Therapist with more than 12 years of experience in personal training, corrective exercise, and manual therapy. Kyle is presently completing his Doctorate in Health Sciences in which he is focusing his research on the different types of movement assessment used by personal trainers in health clubs to provide insight on best practices. Brandon Wagner (Tucson, AZ)

Brandon has been in the fitness industry for seventeen years. He has passion for developing the skills of professionals by engaging them through fitness education and targeted personal development. He established his career as a highly-requested trainer and group instructor at Canyon Ranch, one of the world’s premier health and wellness resorts. Clients ranged from businessmen, athletes, and celebrities including Gerard Butler for the movie 300. In addition to owning and operating his own personal training business, FIT Specialists in Tucson, AZ, Brandon works as a Master Trainer for TriggerPoint™, providing education and training for various self-myofascial release techniques. He is also one of only eight worldwide Senior Master Trainers at TRX where he specializes in program development, trainee evaluation and military education. Kyle Guay (North Vancouver, BC)

Born and raised on the North Shore of Vancouver, Kyle completed his Bachelors of Human Kinetics at UBC in 2010 and is currently working towards his masters in Exercise Science - Performance Enhancement and Injury Prevention out of California U of Pennsylvania. Kyle spent his youth playing AAA hockey and elite level soccer. He made the switch to National level mountain bike racer after graduating high school.

Matt Holtzmann (Vancouver, BC)

Matt is a native of Vancouver, British Columbia.  He has spent his formative sport years playing University basketball and semi-professional baseball, and now enjoys the best of BC’s backyard snowshoeing, snowboarding and hiking.  He graduated locally with a degree in Kinesiology with special designation in Human Performance and Physiology, has had numerous studies published related to sport and conditioning and loves to be active locally in the sporting community. Matt has over 10 years of experience coaching youth, high school, college and professional athletes, and 5 years of working in the world of rehabilitation.  He’s always super pumped to meet new challenges head on, and looks forward to life’s next curveball.

Kennedy Lodato (Kitchener, ON)

Kennedy is a true fitness advocate and has been dedicated to the fitness industry for almost two and half decades. He is currently a PTS PRO TRAINER, teaching the Personal Trainer Specialist Certification course for Canada’s largest certification company, canfitpro. In addition, he is also a Master Trainer for COREFX, TriggerPoint Performance Therapy, BOSU and ViPR. Kennedy co-founded and is Director of Live Education for CFEA (Canadian Fitness Education Alliance), a fitness educational company delivering continuing education to the fitness industry. With teaching, instructing and presenting as his passions, he’s been fortunate enough to have taught over 1700 trainers and coaches. Kennedy is very passionate and committed to living a healthy and well-balanced lifestyle, always practicing what he preaches. Andrew (Chaddy) Chadwick (Melbourne, VIC)

With a decade of fitness industry experience to draw on, Chaddy is a PTA Global Faculty Member, TRX and TriggerPoint Performance Master Instructor, ViPR pro trainer, SandBells and Kettlebell instructor. A former soldier, Australian Rules player and coach, and current martial artist, he has the ability to apply science to movement and make it fun.

Cedric Seah (Adelaide, SA)

Cedric has been in the fitness and health industry for more than 15 years. He is currently a Master Trainer for TriggerPoint™ and PowerPlate®. He is the owner of Core For Life, a mobile personal training and massage therapy business located in Adelaide, South Australia. Cedric focuses on client well-being and specialises in getting clients out of pain using NeuroKinetic Therapy®, Osteo-Fascial Technique with TriggerPoint™ tools, PowerPlate® and RockTape. Cedric is a ViPR™ Pro Trainer, and his endeavour to expand his toolbox has seen him completed OD on Movement, Institute of Motion and PTA Global mentorships. Cedric's clients vary 11 to 94 years old, from athletes (dancers, AFL players) to the elderly (requiring rehabilitation for everyday life). Krista Sirota (Melbourne VIC)

Krista was born and raised in Nova Scotia, Canada. Always enthusiastic about health and work-life balance, she made the move into the fitness industry in 2002 and is passionate about helping people to keep their body running well as they age. She is the National Operations Manager for Personal Training Academy in Melbourne and a proud TriggerPoint Master Instructor.

Brendan Tuck (Wollongong, NSW)

Brendan Tuck is a Master Trainer for TriggerPoint Performance and TRX Training. He is a specialist in Functional Movement Systems and a registered Strength & Conditioning Coach with ASCA. Brendan has a background in Kyokushin Karate, Triathlons, Strongman, Road & Track Cycling and is also a patrol captain for Surf Lifesaving Australia at his local beach. Located in Wollongong, New South Wales, Australia, Brendan runs an athlete development program under his business Coach Tuck, training youth and adult athletes who compete on the WQS Surfing Tour, World Masters Track & Field, National Road & Track cycling, local football, touch football, soccer, basketball and netball teams, members of the Australian Triathlon Team, and sponsors local Illawarra Sports High School. With an athletic background, Brendan understands the importance of moving well with the correct amount of mobility, stability and motor control required to achieve sporting success. Shannon Pigdon (Albury, NSW)

Shannon is the COO of Lonedog, a Personal Training facility which specializes in individualizing the Group Training Experience. Shannon is also a course instructor for Kettlebells, Battling Ropes and TRX. An avid Girevoy (Kettlebell) Sport competitor, Shannon is a current athlete of the Girevoy Sports Australian National Team. It was the search of improving movement that inspired a relationship with TriggerPoint Performance. While training clients ranging from Olympic Athletes to retirees, Shannon promotes the application of the SMR and MCT principles to help people of all levels perform and feel better.


Ryan Charem (Hong Kong)

Ryan is a trainer and educator in the health, fitness and wellness industry, inspiring and encouraging new and seasoned trainers into a healthier lifestyle. With his background in Nutrition, Ryan is able to give his clients a well-rounded approach to fitness and wellness. Currently a Master Trainer for NASM CPT and Fitness Nutrition courses, as well as Powerplate™ and Trigger Point™, Ryan constantly pushes his own personal boundaries to be able to bring the best this business has to offer, both from a Personal Training perspective, and an Educational point of view. Ryan is currently Director of Precision Fitness Hong Kong.

Audrey Lo (Hong Kong)

Audrey is probably one of the busiest personal trainers in Hong Kong, with a myriad of clients, group fitness classes, as well as her own personal WOD. With all this going on she still manages to teach TRX, Trigger Point, Powerplate™, and ViPR™ and in her spare time manages to travel around the world competing in CrossFit competitions. At such a very young age Audrey has managed to achieve a huge amount, more than some people achieve in a lifetime.

Alex Poole (Hong Kong)

Alex has over 16 years of experience in the health, fitness and elite conditioning market. A former professional rugby player, he studied his BSc in Sports Science at Loughborough University and went on to complete his MSc in Exercise Physiology and Sports Biomechanics. He was the Strength & Conditioning Coach with Gloucestershire CCC from 1998-2004 and has worked with numerous athletes in other sports including a three times X-Games Gold Medal and Olympic Bronze winning snowboarder. An experienced presenter, he has written and helped develop courses in a wide range of subjects from Olympic Weightlifting to Strength & Conditioning for Physiotherapists. He is the provider of training courses and workshops for a number of internationally acclaimed companies including SAQ®, Quantum HFE, Cybex® and D2F Fitness.


Edin Mehmedovic (Zagreb)

Edin was born and raised in Zagreb, the capital of Croatia. He has a Master’s Degree in Kinesiology. Sport was his path from the early days, from playing handball to becoming a professional personal trainer. In over 10 years as a personal trainer, he learned that personal growth is only possible through constant education, so he became a TRX and RIP Master Trainer, Bosu certified instructor, Schwinn bronze level cycling instructor, and in the end a SMRT-CORE Master Trainer for TriggerPoint. He recognized TP products as an ideal tool for correcting postural dysfunction, not only for himself but also for his clients. His goal is to continue with his personal education and to pass his knowledge on to a new generation of personal trainers and sport professionals in Croatia.


Ondrej Lunga (Prague)

Ondrej holds master’s degree in Sports and has more than 20 years of experience in the fitness industry. Currently, he is a strength and conditioning and corrective trainer at his own fitness club in Prague where he hosts a variety of group sessions and private lessons. Ondrej is a coach and works with local and national sports teams and professionals, especially in soccer. He believes it is very important to have a knowledge and understanding of how the body works to help each client and athlete attain their optimal settings for life and sports performance. The TriggerPoint concept has helped him achieve this. Anette Grandahl Papsø (Viborg)

Anette is the owner of Active Aid, the Danish TriggerPoint distributor, working on a daily basis with TriggerPoint sales. Anette is also a passionate teacher and has worked for many years with training of stability and mobility. She is a qualified sports therapist and has a large exposure in increased movement for better performance. She is a FMS 1 and FMS 2 practitioner. Anette teaches the TriggerPoint Foam Rolling 4-hour workshops. She is also a Stott Pilates instructor and is known for her special ability to teach with great energy and high spirits.

Kim Grandahl Papsø (Viborg)

Kim is the owner of the Active Aid, the Danish distributor for TriggerPoint, and runs the business together with Anette. As a personal trainer, massage therapist, and sports therapist over the last 35 years, Kim has moved around at different levels in the fitness industry. His major interest lies in getting people to move more efficiently, improve performance and ensure that everyone stays clear of injuries. He is a FMS 1 and FMS 2 practitioner. Kim teaches the TriggerPoint Foam Rolling 4-hour course.


Georg Kramer (Hamburg)

Georg Kramer is a Personal Trainer in Hamburg, Germany. He studied sports science and medicine and is a Certified TRX Course Instructor and TriggerPoint Master Trainer. Georg has worked in the industry as a Personal Trainer since 2002 and opened his own studio, TRAININGSDECK, in 2012. He completely follows the functional philosophy, where the health and good movements of his clients come first. Georg created a very successful program for golf athletes, where he pushes golfers to new levels of performance.


Rori M. Putra

Rori started his fitness career in 2011 as a certified personal trainer He is associated with the Academy of Fitness Aerobic and Spa, Indonesian Fitness Education Network, International Fitness Professionals Association, and is also an instructor in TRX , Stott Pilates. He is a master trainer in Bosu, also. Rori is currently working as head coach at Crossfit Senayan, Indonesia. His aim is to spread fitness education and help others live a better life.

Mark Mariani BS, NASM-CPT

Mark is a former Marine Sergeant and Elite Close-Protection Professional. As a life-long Martial Arts student and competitor. Mark has trained in Kenpo Karate, Wrestling, Boxing, Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai. As a Marine, Mark was a member of an elite team of security professionals that provided antiterrorism protective measures for U.S. Strategic interests. After a successful tour of duty, Mark attended University where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree with First Class honors. Upon graduating college, Mark was hired by Gavin de Becker & Associates, the Nation's leading Executive Protective firm, were he managed a ten man protective detail for high profile clients. Mark is also the two-time recipient of the prestigious Gavin De Becker 'Atlas Club Superior Performance Award' for elite physical fitness. Mark is a certified personal trainer (NASM), Master Trainer for Movement Efficiency Training (MET), TRX Training, Trigger Point, as well as a MMA conditioning coach (MMA CC) and 'Training For Warriors' (TFW) certified level-2 coach. Darren is the owner of Kickstart Fitness Functional Training Centre in Dublin. He specializes in personal training and strength & conditioning for athletic development and large group training. Darren is a Senior Course Instructor and Master Trainer for TRX Training and a TriggerPoint Master Trainer. Having completed years of training himself, he now strives to create a highly enjoyable environment to deliver fast and effective results in fat loss and muscle building.

Damian Hall (Bray)

With 15 years of experience in the fitness industry, his Complete Personal Training business in Dalkey and CPT Bootcamps in Bray, Central Park and Herbert park locations are thriving and a 'go to' for people looking for expert fitness advice and to get into shape in the quickest time possible. Mark has been working in the sports industry for over 10 years now coming from working with Intel as their Head Chef and then working in Croke Park & Dublin Gaa as a football development officer. Mark is currently the Owner of Insanity Fit Zone in Dublin which has over 1600 registered members. He has been training for many years and has also raced many times for the Irish Triathlon Team. Mark has competed at the top level around the world if it’s not Ironman to Triathlon or Marathons! He is a fitness junky - that’s why we nickname him “The Machine.” He is ITEC qualified in Personal Training, Gym Instruction and Studio and Indoor Cycling. Susan McEntegart (Dublin)

With over 17 years of industry experience, Susan has a passion for education and coaching. She has been training fitness professionals since 2004 and now runs her own training and consultancy business called Corner Shop Gym as well as a recently launched fitness studio under the same name. Through this she works with fitpros internationally to help them launch and run a profitable, compliant and successful fitness business. Susan is a regular guest speaker at industry events and her own qualifications include a Bachelor Degree in Business Studies, NCEF Level 1 Fitness Instruction and Level 2 Personal Training, Diploma in Personal Nutrition and a Diploma in Digital Marketing. She is also a FMT1 and FMT2 Certified Movement Professional with Rocktape, an American Heart Association/Irish Heart Foundation Heartsaver Instructor as well as holding various other coaching qualifications. Ralfs Upmanis (Riga, Latvia)

Ralfs is a personal trainer, group trainer and choreographer who has been working in the fitness industry for almost 20 years. He started as a head coach in a gym in 1998 and is now as a trainer in his own gym - DCH studija. He is energetic, reliable, accurate, ambitious and always willing to help others. He has continuously expanded his knowledge throughout the years in various courses. He has published two books - “Vingro ar Prieku” and “Ejam Vingrot”- and has had some publications in sports and lifestyle magazines. He also is a guest lecturer at The Latvian Academy of Sport Education, member of the board in association of Latvian fitness and the sphere of health promotion, member of the board in Latvian trainers training center, as well as the official ADIDAS instructor in Latvia, and the author of many fitness workout programs. His motto is: “The most important muscle in one’s body will always be the heart.” In his free time Ralfs enjoys running and participating in half-marathons and he is a great chef.


Jesslyn Bozeman

Jesslyn has been involved in South East Asia's health and fitness industry for over 20 years. Mauricio Gooiker (Apeldoorn)

With more than twenty years of experience in the fitness industry, Mauricio has been able to master a truly wide range of skills and managed to learn from the best of the best all around the world. He started out as a passionate fitness instructor, then found new inspiration teaching group exercise classes. He soon became the manager at a local sport studio before opening up his own gym. Mauricio was also one of the Master Trainers for the biggest fitness and group fitness educators in the Netherlands. On a day-to-day basis, Mauricio owns a (Private) Personal Training studio and is a professional (dynamic) Meditation Teacher and movement specialist. His motivation? Geert van Poppel (Amsterdam)

Geert van Poppel is an expert in functional training. He’s an all-around athlete, has a background as a physical therapist, and has been involved in the fitness industry for more than 10 years. His experience as a physio enables him to translate physical science into new, refreshing forms of fitness training, based on the latest scientific research. Geert says, “I like to experiment with new training methods and products! It helps me to stay creative and it stimulates me to keep searching for new ways to get more training results!” As a Master Trainer for, Geert is responsable for International Education and Program Development for international brands such as BOSU, Stroops, Dynamax, Hyperwear and TriggerPoint in Europe. Geert is the founder of Core Power: a functional training program that supports the use of functional training equipment. Filipe Videira (Lisbon)

Filipe has been involved in fitness industry since 2000. The bulk of his experience includes fitness training at gyms and clinics and as a presenter providing education in assessing muscular imbalances for pain relief and injury prevention.Filipe holds a degree in sports, exercise and health science and is a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) certified personal trainer and corrective exercise specialist. When he finished physical therapy in 2006, Filipe started working in the world of rehabilitation. He specializes in treating musculoskeletal pain and sports injuries by integrating soft tissue release, joint manipulation, corrective exercise and nutrition to control the inflammation process. This year he will finish his postgraduate work in pathophysiology of the musculoskeletal system, TMJ, cervical and cranial-facial pain. Filipe has been proud to be a part of the TriggerPoint family as a Master Trainer since 2011 and looks forward to continuing to educate people about the breakthrough concepts of GRID foam rolling and Myofascial Compression Techniques. Filipe also enjoys spending time reading, traveling, running and getting sun on the beach.

José Pedro Almieda (Lisbon)

José Pedro Almeida is an Exercise Physiologist, PhD Student in Human Motor Control and University Teacher at the University of Sports in Lisbon, Portugal. Functional Training and Low Back Pain are his passions and the main subjects of scientific research, which applies to the golf swing. He teaches internationally. He is the strength & conditioning coach of the Portuguese national golf team and several professional and amateur golfers. Clinically, José is responsible for the post rehab and back prevention programs of athletes and non-athletes where the TriggerPoint tools are fundamental. His professional scientific education is complemented with certifications from National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA-CPT), Titleist Performance Institute (TPI-CGFI), and Nike Golf/Gray Institute (NG360-GPS). Two years ago, he joined the Technogym company as a Master Trainer and Ambassador, and in 2014, he joined the amazing TriggerPoint Master Trainer Team. His professional life at this moment is between Lisbon and Vienna, where he teaches and trains golfers. José loves the sea, the golf course and travelling.

João Martins

João works as a Personal Trainer and Manual and Movement Therapist in Lisbon, Portugal. He has a BSc in Sport Sciences and a MSc in Exercise and Health from Faculty of Human Kinetics, University of Lisbon, and a Professional Degree in Osteopathy from ITS, Lisbon. His professional education is complemented with Certification in Applied Functional Science (Gray institute), ATS&F (Anatomy Trains), TRX-STC and ViPR-PT. Since 2016, he works with GTF Education, where he's an Educator in Exercise and Health area and TriggerPoint Master Trainer (2017). João loves study, surfing and travelling.


Sahafudeen Hamzah

Deen has been in the fitness industry for the past seven years. He is passionate about helping his clients attain their best physique and fitness goals by using a different approach to help them reshape their bodies and make a difference in their lives. Currently, Deen is pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree (Honors) in Sports and Exercise Science at Edinburgh Napier University. He is an American Council of Exercise (ACE) Certified Personal Trainer. His passion and enthusiasm for health and fitness help improve people’s lives and help them achieve their health and fitness goals – whatever they may be. Deen also specializes in weight-loss, muscle toning, strength and conditioning, and TriggerPoint Myofascial Compression Techniques (MCT). His philosophy of teaching is to impart the knowledge that he learns and educate other fitness professionals, not just using the TriggerPoint products, but also by helping them understand the science behind foam rolling and MCT. Sebastian Cormier (Winterthur)

Sebastian is a passionate Physiotherapist and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, working in Winterthur, Switzerland. He received his MSc in Physiotherapy from King’s College in London and his BSc in Sports Medicine from Elon University in the USA. His expertise lies in the assessment and treatment of clients with complex pain conditions and recurrent and hard to fix, sports injuries. On the performance side he is particularly proud of having worked as a physiotherapist of National Teams in the UK, New Zealand and Switzerland. Bariş Cunguroglu (Istanbul)

International Cooperation Platform Board Member UIP-ICP, Barış is a rare talent in Turkey. After graduating from Ege University Gymnastics & Sports Academy, he worked in a number of health & sports centers in Izmir and Istanbul. Taekwondo, Step-Aerobics, Cycling, Bosu, Pilates, 4D Pro, LesMills, TRX, Gravity are just some of the fields of which he is expert. Being an Ability Trainer of Technogym and Technical Board Member of International All Sports Federation Board Member, he is also executing many other wellness and development programs. As a founder of Private Training Studios and Seam Academy, which are leading organizations along with a number of branches, Barış who is TP Master Trainer since 2017, is willing to share his experience and know-how with all parties within the sports industry.

Hilmi Erenler (Istanbul)

Hilmi received his Bachelor's degree from Bahcesehir University Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation. Being specialized in sports injuries, injury prevention, corrective exercises, athlete foot health, foot analysis and custom insoles. He works as a physiotherapist and trainer mostly with national elite & amateur athletes to help their assessment, treatment and rehabilitation. Yakup Sancakli (Istanbul)

Yakup graduated from Halic University Sports & Fitness Management. He attended many courses and received certificates in several areas such as ACE Personal Training, CrossFit, Idea World, American Council on Exercise PT / Body Bar / Bosu, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, Kids Pilates, American Performings Arts Physical Therapy Pilates Mat Module, etc. Continuing his career as a fitness manager, Trigger Point Performance Therapy Master Training is the latest milestone for him.


Parveez Mohamed (Dubai)

Parveez is TRX Program Developer and Fitness Director for Advantage Sports. He has over 18 years in the health & fitness industry as a group fitness trainer, personal trainer, celebrity trainer, health club operations manager, and fitness expert for well-known U.A.E Magazines. Parveez enjoys introducing the functional and fun element of training to deliver safe and effective changes to your body. He moved to Dubai 10 years ago as part of the pre-opening team for Emaar’s Leisure Brand, Hayya Health Clubs, where he worked as Leisure Operations Manager for two clubs. He was also a corporate Master Trainer, Director of the Fitness Demo Team, and Brand Ambassador for Hayya through TV interviews, magazine articles, and social media. Parveez is a fitness expert for Good Taste magazine as well as a published writer of health tips and fitness knowledge for Men’s Health and Good Taste magazines.

Reiss Adams

Reiss Adams is a British trained Sports Therapist and Master trainer of TP therapy levels 1, 2 & 3. Currently living in Dubai, Reiss works with many athletes for posture and performance analysis, injury prevention and recovery and has been using the TriggerPoint equipment for about 2 years as part of the recovery and performance programmes for his athletes.


Sue Wilkie

Sue has over 25 years experience in the fitness industry and has been working as a Master Trainer for Triggerpoint since the UK launch in 2011 and presented across the World as International Master Trainer for BOSU, freeFORM Board, Total Gym, Lebert Training Systems & STROOPS. Having come from an International Sports background, Sue has continued to develop her work with Elite Sports clients from Football, through to Rugby, Tennis and Badminton, educating them in prevention rather than cure with their functional training practices. She currently runs a consultancy business writing programming for Fitness chains, providing gym floor solutions to engage members and works alongside large fitness brands from across the world to engage the UK market with education and gaining accreditation. She is currently leading the Uk training teams for TRX and Triggerpoint.

Kevin Wright

Kevin's first step into sports coaching was at the age of 15. A keen swimmer from a young age, he started to move away from competing and into coaching whilst training in several sports including volleyball and taekwondo. He went on to represent Scotland in the sport before a serious leg injury caused him to try out different disciplines including jujitsu, judo and thai boxing; it was his passion for athletic development and performance that led him to foam rolling. Kevin's academic background is a true representation of his love of sport and fitness; with a BSc Degree in Sports and Exercise Science and MSc in Sports Coaching, he also has more than 30 qualifications in coaching and instructing across a variety of sports and disciplines. An accredited strength and conditioning coach with an extensive list of group exercise certificates, Kevin joined Triggerpoint as a Master Trainer in 2015 and is also an Educator with a number of sports' governing bodies and fitness brands including World Rugby, UK Athletics, Beachbody, Hatton academy and British Weight Lifting. Day-to-day, Kevin is the centre manager for sport and fitness at Edinburgh Napier University and sits on the board for physical activity and health for British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS). He is also part of CIMSPA's professional development committee and is dedicated to supporting the quality and standards of education provision across the sport and fitness industry.
