I have been using Trigger Point for 2 seasons now. I am what you call an injury prone triathlete, therefore utilize my Trigger Point tools daily. All the Trigger Point tools are beneficial to my daily training regiment. Us Ironman triathletes put severe strain on our bodies, utilizing Trigger Point enables us to release some muscle tension in order to continue extreme training.
I honestly don't know how I would be able to compete at the level I do and put in the consistent hours of training without my Trigger Point products. They are such an essential part of my daily regime and help so much in my recovery.
My experiences with Trigger Point have been phenomenal. Not only is the product highly compact, easy to travel with, and BOMB PROOF (as I have used the same set for over a year with no softening of the product) but it is also critical to my recovery plan. Trigger Point allows me to work areas that I would not be able to work otherwise on my own! I am a HUGE fan of the product and recommend it to any athlete looking to maximize performance!
Somehow I forget to make appointments to get a massage, but with the Trigger Point rollers I can do most of the work myself. It really helps to get the tension of my muscles. And with adjusting the weight on the place where I roll, I can do a light or heavy muscle 'massage'. Each time I use my rollers I ask myself why I did not have it earlier...
I suffered for years with plantar fasciitis until discovered Trigger Point Massage Ball and techniques as a cure for this ailment. I now use the Trigger Point Starter Set all the time, to prevent issues from flaring up.
Run injuries for me have traditionally all been lower leg related, so I especially love the footballer and TPT balls for sorting out my calves and tib post tightness. Easy to use every day and super effective at keeping my calves in the condition I need them for heavy training loads. Definitely a contributing factor to my recent Ironman marathon personal best of 2:53.
I have used trigger point since 2007 after purchasing at Ironman Arizona. I roll on my calfs then glutes, quads and hamstrings after runs. I noticed great release on my glute meds, hurts so good sometimes. I tend to get lower leg injuries so rolling on my calfs is a necessity.
Since using Trigger Point I have seen huge improvement in my range of motion and recovery. Nobody knows your body like you do and Trigger Point allows you to pin-point to problem areas and apply as much or as little pressure as you like. The more you use it the better the results..
